ATI Cat 8.7 Probs

Just tried to install the Cat 8.7 for Vista 64 and seem to be getting a problem woith the driver part install....anyone seen this error beofre????

Have you tried downloading the driver set again?.

everything seemed to install from the 'suite' aprt from the driver itself...i then installed the driver from ATI web page and tried driver by itslef...same????

I have not got a clue then, sorry . Hopefully this bump will attract someone with the answer.

What gfx card do you have & what did you use to uninstall the drivers before ?

A similar thing happened to me with vista 64 it happened when i used a driver cleaner so i had to roll back a day and uninstall the old drivers through device manager...re-start and make sure the driver has gone in device manager then install new driver suite.

bah...i kept trying to instal and 4th time round it worked without issue. Weird ehh???
