ati catalyst 7.10 driver

Well hopefully when I come abck on holiday I should see some magical performance boosts, or I hope my mind will trick me into thinking and then believing that.

I get 60 FPS+ in Bioshock at Max everything 1280 1024.....

Well apart from the cut scenes which are limited to 30

Not sure the extra performance promised will make any real difference.

I'd stick with the 7.9's until you're installed, stable and happy with the system, that way any 'undocumented features' in the beta drivers won't have you chasing 'ghosts in the machine'

Nice. I take it you use V-Sync then?. I had it about 60 - 90 FPS (I think - it was super sooth though). This was at 1440x900 or 1360x768 with no forced AA or AF and max settings. This is on the x1900xt though and at stock speed.

Will do on the 7.9's. Just going to install the 2900Pro after I do a few things about the house. Got back at midnight last night and fitted the OCZ PSU and gutted my system out at the same time (boy was my old PSU fluffy in some parts :o).

My m8 who I got the PSU from had a bit of a nightmare though. First the PC wouldn't boot after putting the 1200watt PSU in as one of the memory sticks died . It was weird as they never got removed during the process and were working fine before the PC got shut down to fit the new PSU. Is Corsair Dominator RAM known to be this flaky?. After that I had to remove and replace the first DDR2 module several times to get it to post but the second module wouldn't let the PC post. Funny thing was when he didn't plug one of the 6pin adapters into one of the GTX's. It screamed like a female dog :D.

Oops, went a bit off topic. Sorry.
