ATI Catalyst Profiles

Hey guys,

Just a quick question - I need to set a profile on the ati catalyst which allows my GPU to go up to a high fan speed...it won't pass about 30% even under very high load, which is really counter-intuitive. Is there anything I can do about this? I tried to create a profile which I could turn on for gaming but it wasn't clear how to set the fan speed for that profile etc...

What I do (w7 64):

1. Right click CCC shortcut and pin it to taskbar.

To make the profile:

2. CCC panel>Overdrive>Save your default profile as 'Default' in Presets.

3. CCC panel>Overdrive> set fan speed/clocks to whatever, hit apply.

4. Go back to Presets and save it as whatever.

Right click the CCC icon and select the profile you want.
