All gfx cards crash, there is not a single gfxcard out there that has not crash on someone at some point.

There is no perfect gfx card that is perfect on all setup under all conditions.

You think its Microsofts problem that anything that runs on its OS can crash & that's its there duties to fix it no matter how buggy or poorly written the software, drivers & possible faulty hardware.
 
Installed fine as always, no issues as always, great drivers so far and BFBC2 is loading incredibly fast.(3-4 seconds to load a game and runs real good.)

Temps seem lower for me maybe due to it being freezing tonight though.
 
I had the right set-up, tried both xp and vista. It was never going work. The funny thing is Overclockers tested it and told me it works fine-they obviously didn't try run a game or stay on it long enough to get a BSOD.
 
10.10a Hotfix is released aswell.
there is also a hack that enables Advanced AA that currently only 6800 series have.

there is a mod that allows 58xxx series cards to obtain this very same AA and surface AF technologies.

here is a image from my system using these advancements.

Maybe it was your setup that was not fine.
And there are a massive amount of possibilities.

You used that registry trick ?
They said that they would back port it for older cards.

Or maybe it was a different issue? Those errors aren't always down to the GPU.

But the card was fine on OCUKs system so you tried everything that you could think of but not what others could think of because i have never failed to sort out the problem when the problem is down to specific setup that im dealing with & when the card is not faulty.

How about trying another 1950 pro in that setup.
How about finding out what setup OCuk was using.
How about under clocking the gfx card.

And i can assure you wouldn't of thought of everything i would have other wise you would not of been in what you think is an impossible situation .
