ATI Catalyst vs. NVIDIA ForceWare VGA Performance in Win 7

186.xx was a return to form - aside from Nelly I've not heard of any major problems with 186.18 aside from a couple of missing video playback options on highly specific setups...

190.xx so far have been attrocious with lots of crashes, bad SLI support and performance drops - they also appear to have a VRAM leak somewhere causing massive slowdowns after a period of playing.

I had huge issues with 190.XX, both with games and using CUDA. However I thought it was just me, anyways feel a bit better now :p

I am back on 186.18 as the new ones will not resize my desktop at 1360 x768 and it over scans it ,when i resize it, it set it to 1920 x 1080.
This has been the problem on and off since i get my 320

edit i got vista 64

ATi driver instability is a myth from years gone by, last time I had an ATi driver issue was in some 2007 version of Gentoo, sure maybe until recently they never performed the best but hell at least they were stable. Then again, I've never had an issue with nVidia drivers either, haven't owned one since the days of Gefore4 though.

Basically poop happens and when win7 is shipping with new builds and drivers have had a chance to mature this whole argument will be completely pointless.
