I've seen a few threads on whether aspect scaling and 1:1 pixel mapping works with monitors. I've not yet seen anything specifically on whether NVIDIA's or ATI's scaling works.

So - if you have a widescreen TFT and an ATI card - does centred timing work? Please let the rest of us know.

Useful info would be monitor make and model, graphics card model, driver version and, of course, whether it works or not. Just the monitor and a yes or no would be helpful.

Edit:

According to the thread about the monitor, The Hyundai N91W works.

Problem with ati cards it that this function seems monitor dependent. If the card shows the post screen on dvi chances are the centred timmings option will work. if not then, not likely.

the belinea 102035w doesnt work, but the benq 20" widescreen (forget model name) does work.
