Take two 1gb 4870's in crossfire and match them against one 2gb 4870x2.

Which would win?

Also to bear in mind is the fact that the 4890 is out soon. Would I be able to crossfire with that and a 4870?
I've not done a lot of research into that yet as I'm looking for a card now rather than waiting. I already have a Asus m3a79-t deluxe with a Phenom II 940be that I'll be running on.
 
We dont really know enough about the 4890 yet, but you should be able to CF it. From the benchies I have seen the X2 wins 9 times out of 10 compared to CF 4870.
