Ati colour calibration for monitor?

I think there was a nvidia monitor callibration thing where u clicked and draged red green and blue and did other things, but i cant find anything like this in CCC can someone advise the best way to do it, as my colours arnt the best and contrast etc. And i duno what i should be seeing so i need somit that will tune things to how they should look.
 
I basically just adjusted the gamma figures until the screen colours looked similar to what they had done on my previous Nvidia card (where I'd used the calibrate screen tool they provide)

Anyone got any suggestions on how to do this is in a less guesswork manner!

Colours can be adjusted individually by selecting the colour channel from the "Set colour correct for:" drop down box

Yes ... but there's no feed back on the calibration ... the Nvidia tool gives a gradated shaded bar of each colour which you pull left or right until the colour in the middle matches a singel colour bar on either side ... I assume this is balancing a 50% brightness colour against a dithered pattern of 100% colour + black pixels to work out the mid tone balancing.
