Right i got a ATI connect 3d x1900xt card and bought a zalman cooler for it. Now i don't know but does it make a difference if i put the zalman fan cooler on it, as i think the fan that comes with it is ok and not too noisy. So if anyone can tell me whats best to do? Is it gonna overheat excessively without the zalman fan?

Installing a Zalman VF900-Cu (or any aftermarket cooler) to your graphics card will render the warranty void, but so long as you don't knock off a capacitor or something while you're installing it (which is a difficult mistake to make as these coolers are so simple to install) then I wouldn't worry about that in the slightest.

The card won't overheat with the stock cooler, but the Zalman will do a far better and quieter job of it if that's what you're after. It's also pretty much a must if you plan to overclock (and not just for benchmarking, but for a permanent performance boost.)
