ATi Control center not working

I just noticed the ATi tray icon in the bottom right go missing.

I try to load the ATi catalyst control center and absolutely nothing happens.

I've uninstalled all ATi drivers and software and installed the newest catalyst 6.9 and it didn't work

I uninstalled again, used driver cleaner, reinstalled microsoft .net and installed drivers again and still not loading.

I'm trying to use ati tray tools but its missing a few display options I want. so i need the control center, how do i get it back?

Try installing .net 1.1 AND 2.0

I already had both installed.

I just tried uninstalling .net 1.1 & 2.0 and installing again, still nothing.

When I click on control center, CLI.exe pops up in windows task manager, but then the mem usage drops.
But nothing comes up on screen.

Do you have crossfire? If not get ATi Tray Tools.

I installed ATT, and have been tinkering with it for a while, but its missing some dual screen tools I need.

CCC needs Internet access to run if it's available on the PC.....

Make sure You are not blocking it

Maybe a long shot but are you sure the 2 ATI sevice's (ATI Hotkey Poller and ATI Smart) haven't been disabled, as CCC won't function properly without them running.

To check go to Start > run > type " services.msc " and if they are disabled, enable them and reboot.
