Hi

Long story cut short.

I bought a new mobo, P8P67 and out my single Powercolor 5770 in iot. Fine.

My old man's display card broke. He bought an XFX 5770. However, as he is a little old, he bought two. Doh!

As I am comparitively well off compared to a pensioner, I bought one from him. The idea was to bung it in my second machine intended to be a DAW.

However, I had this crossfire idea! The mobo appears to support it:
Asus

However, I have no 'bridge'. In neither the mobo box nor thge display adapter box.

Do I have to order one? Surely it can be done internally? I have them both in but under CCC it mentions primary adapter and 'disabled' adapter.

Any suggestions?

Ta!

Just google crossfire bridge and buy one that is the right length (You will need one for crossfire to function correctly).. read what gav said too, it's important to enable 4x pci-e on the 2nd pci-e slot for crossfire to function and for the card to work at 4x speeds and not 1x (THIS IS DONE IN THE BIOS).

SimpleTom - i think i have a spare bridge lurking around, if you pm me your address i will send it off to you :)

Okay, enabled it via the BIOS! Cheers for that.

Phatboy, I have sent you a Trust message. I 'd appreciate a bridge!

Many thanks!

Yes, got it yesterday and fitted it. It works excellently!

Thank you very much for that. If you'd like something in return I can 'PayPal' you something if you like.

Many thanks again!
