thank you very much guys, ill be trying to find a bridge and put my other card on to 3rd slot and hopefully reduce the temps, its still 40 degrees out here im burning + the heat from the pc is killing me :D

after i install my 2nd card on to the 3rd pci-e 16x slot (that runs on 8x lol) i would still have another 2 small PCI slots left on top of the 1st card right? i was thinking abot installing this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-003-LL&groupid=701&catid=1428&subcat=1433 on to the top 2 PCI slots and hopefully reduce temps more... u guys think that is worth buying and if it is am i able to install it?

here is a picture of my MB http://www.jatoncomputers.com.au/images/GA-EX58-UD5.jpg so the 1st blue slot and the big orange slot are going to be filled with my graphics card, im asking if i can fit that thing on to the top 2 slots or in between the 2 cards?

£29 is a silly amount for a slot fan, I've tried them all over the years. They don''t work very well, tbh you'd be better of with an Antec - Spot Cool over the top of em. Put some air down the middle, only £7 ish.

and that reduces temps around? if the 30 pounds one cools a lot more i might go for that tbh i just want to reduce temps dont care how i do it :D can u tell me how much that reduces temp by if its urs ofc or if u just know :)

If you really want to reduce temps start looking at after market coolers. Slot fans are a waste of time, focusing some air at the inlet might help. But you'd be far better of with a couple of Vortexx or Duorb amongst others.

hmm, my 4890's are sapphire vapor-x how much is the vortexx gna lower it anyway when compared to the vapor-x. and if i do get the vortexx should i get only for the 1st card since its the only one that gets really hot or for both?

im not going to buy now though, going to wait for my bridge to arrive see what the temps gna be then and if i still reach really hot temps then ill have to get a slot cooler or a vortexx

Vapor-x is supposed to be the best of the stock coolers. The extra gap will help and make sure the overall case air flow is good. I use water, but last time I used an after marker cooler, a duorb, the temps dropped a lot. Around half. See the slot cooler? Just pulls in air all around, does naff all for the graphics card, went in the bin.

i see... ill see what the temps are going to be around after getting the bridge and setting it up again, if i still need a solution, ill have to go for the vortexx since the duorb isnt sold at overclockers
