so i installed the 10.8's this afternoon
im trying to go back to 10.4, ive uninstalled the .8's and reinstalled .4's but it keeps saying i have .8's installed
seems no matter what i do i cant get rid of the 10.8's
any ideas ??

System restore to before you installed the 8s the first time.
 
Uninstall, boot into safe mode, run driver sweeper, search for ATI folders and delete them, run CCleaner on the hard drive and registry, then install 10.4.
