After getting artifacting in the lost planet demo with my 2900xt at stock I thought I would do a clean driver install as I didnt when I went from the 7.5 drivers to the 7.6 drivers that were recently released.

I used catalyst uninstaller first then restarted then used driver cleaner however since I was still at my normal resolution after doing this I used device manager to uninstall the drivers I already had, it then went to the standard resolution as expected. I ran driver cleaner again after that.

So now is where my problems started, I tryed to reinstall the 7.6 drivers but kept getting a "cant find INF file" error so I manually installed the new drivers through the device manager which seemed to work and my resolution changed back to normal. Then when I try to install Catalyst control center through the custom choice in the installer it says its already installed when it isnt and all my games get an error as soon as they start and crash to the desktop :confused:

Have I done something stupid or would someone please be able to give me a proper guide to completly removing everything so I can reinstall all the compenents in the catalyst 7.6 package again to get it all working.
 
Just in case anyone has the same problem it just looked like a bad install, once I removed everything and re-installed again it all worked :)
 
Of the drivers as no games worked after I had messed around with it, now I have got it all working I just tried the lost planet demo again and still get loads of artifacting :(
 
same with me tbh the Lost Planet DX10 demo has major artifacts all over it, i think its the demo in my case, as the CoJ DX10 demo works perfectly, as does the CoH DX10 patch.
 
Yeah the CoJ DX10 demo is fine for me, can't say I have CoH but there is a major problem in the lost planet demo as it is no where near playable with the amount of artifacts im getting.

At least I know its not just me with this problem now!
