ATI Driver problem

I just built my new PC onto Windows 7 64-bit OS, and 9.6 drivers, but the 9.6 drivers felt really buggy with a lot of games. I uninstalled 9.6, and tried to install 9.4, but i can't install any of the drivers now. Control Center installs, but the display driver doesn't. I just get this error, 'Control Center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter'.

I've tried rebooting in safe mode with driver sweeper and ccleaner, and nothing works. Any ideas guys?

I had to reformat the last time it happened, but i really don't want to keep reformating to uninstall drivers.

(I've tried 9.6, 9.5, 9.4 and the disc that comes with it.)

BSmith,

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum. It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads there for addtional support.
