Ati Driver Problems

Hi,

I have an ATI Radeon x850xt and when i download and install the latest drivers and reboot, i cannot run games. In Dxdiag under the display tab all directx features and the test direct 3d are greyed out. I then have to roll back to older drivers to get the card working again.

Any ideas??
