Just got my 5870 this morning:D unistaled the 4890 drivers from control panel. shut down pc. put in new card rebooted and loaded new drivers from ati, think the 10.1. rebooted and went into the ccc. the ccc is showing the old clock speeds of the 4890 and overdriver is unlocked. . my card should be showing 865 core 5300memory... but its showing 900core 1020memory. How do i sort this out please. down loaded gpu-z and it showing the same. also the current values are really low gpu clock is 240mhz memory is 300mhz

just reformat, will save you hours of tinkering and trying dff things other wise you would need to uninstall ati drivers ,gpuz, msi afterburner use driver cleaner re d/l everthing but thats a PITA

Uninstall the Ati drivers completely and delete the Ati folders> program files>Ati etc.

Reinstall 10.1 Catalyst suite.

As for the low clocks, that is an Ati power saving feature. My 5970 is currently @ 157 mhz core and 300mhz memory, instaead of 735/1010. Keeps it quiet and cool m8.
