ATI Drivers

Hello all,

Is there any benefit/loss from using the branded (ASUS, Saphire etc) drivers as opposed to the AMD-ATI ones?

The branded ones in the majority tend to just be rebranded officials nowadays, in years gone by they would make thier own alterations and tweaks, but they don't tend to do that anymore. ATM 9.4 drivers are probably best for you

Yup, never use the ones on the disk unless you have to (ie card not officially supported yet, no internet connection).

I just download them from ATI (http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx) when they come out; running 2 PC’s with Sapphire ATI 4850’s (cat 9.5's) never had any prob’s.
