ATI drivers..

Just a quick ponder, have ATI drivers improved over the past year\6months? Just I remember using them previously, and they were rather crap, they gave appauling performance when playing games through Wine, so much so that a e3300 with nV9300 out performed it.

they are ok now, but they pretty much only support ubuntu. If you like your distros more bleeding edge you are going to have to go with the OSS radeon driver, which is actually fairly good if like me your gaming extends to xmoto...
