Hello all, first post so just thought I'd say hi before getting into the nut's n bolts of my issue 
Right well this has been doing my nut in for a while now, searched about and found people having similar issues but none of the remedies seem to solve the issue for me.
Basically I have a ATI radeon 3870 512 MB card with latest catalyst drivers, I'm running vista ultimate sp1 all updates applied and its very very stable, except one issue. When I run with dual monitors after a seemingly random ammount of time the system locks up (doesnt blue screen, I just get a locked screen, then a message saying the graphics driver has failed, then another, and another then a blank screen).
I have to manually reset the PC at this point as its totally unresponsive.
I get no issues at all when running a single disply, and I run a lot of games with no issues what so ever. Even in dual screen mode I can run everything fine until this lockup appears, which is always a good few hours after booting up but is never the same ammount of time.
I'm thinking some sort of memory leak? but the memory meter on the sidebar indicates I have plenty memory available.
Does anyone know of a fix for this or even if ATI are aware and have a fix in the works as running dual monitors is quite important to me for work etc.
