ATI F@H Big WU

Hello

I bought a 7970 recently and It's mainly sitting idle most of the time since I only use the single monitor. I remember seeing in past set ups, since I used to fold on a 5770 that ATI cards cannot get the big work units to crunch like nvidia cards can.

Is this still the case? Would love to have my card flexing its muscles a bit.

Also is the V7 client the current/best version to use?

Yes, V7 is the current top client and the only way to get the v16 core WUs that make ATI cards do anything worthwhile. Or so I'm told......
I'm going to try a passive 7750 soon so I hope that's right.

Can't get it working at all, it just stays at 0% and says 'failed'

I've also added the GPUs.txt to the run folder

any ideas?

Pretty sure you have to run the ATI OpenCL MultiBeam app from here

What does this do, how do I run it?

unrar it into the Folding@Home program directory, then what?
