AMD GPU lineup old v new reference

With the few new AMD GPUs announced and lots of people asking about RMAing older series GPUs and what they are equivalent to I thought it would make sense to make a quick reference list showing old and new, I know this was done when they first came out but I don't know were it is and there have been a few newer ones added.

AMD
Radeon R290x (Hawaii XT) - New card 4Gig Cards
Radeon R290 (Hawaii PRO) - New card 4Gig Cards
Radeon R280X (Tahiti XT) - 7970 3Gig Cards
Radeon R280 (Tahiti PRO) - 7950 3Gig cards
Radeon R270x (Pitcairn/Tahiti LE) - 7870 2/4Gig cards
Radeon R270 (Curacao PRO/Pitcairn) - 7870 2/4Gig cards
Radeon R265 (Pitcairn) - 7850 2Gig cards
Radeon R260x (Bonaire) - 7790 2Gig cards
Radeon R260 (Bonaire) - 7790 2gig cards (supports true audio)
Radeon R250x (Cape Verde) - 7770 1/2Gig cards
Radeon R250 (Oland XT)- New card 1/2Gig cards

Im sure someone will correct me if I have made any errors.

Edit: Changed some colours and added vram to help when looking at comparable replacements...I know there are a few special cards that had different amounts.

Also bare in mind that when I say a card is the same (new v old) there have been updates in terms of clock speeds, power draw and DirectX compatibility and other things. This is just meant to highlight what is the direct replacement.

The best thing is, prices for the refreshes are actually higher than the (identical) cards they replaced.

Bring on Maxwell.

Oh good point I could put prices on them, but then again they change so frequently at the minute.

Yer, I know and was only joking :p

It is a good idea in truth and could be very helpful.

ok apparently you can edit the title :p under advanced options. So says AMD now :)

No wait it only does it for the line in the thread not the whole thing :( dam
