ATI GPU + Nvidia GPU as PPU?

Does anyone know if this works in vista, a 4870 as the main card with say a 8600GT for physx?

There seems to be conflicting results, seems to work in XP but not Vista:

Exactly as you've said, it works in XP with a bit of fiddling, but won't work in Vista.

Reason is Vista only allows one graphics driver, as such you'd be able to install the ATI or the nVidia not both.

XP has no such limitation.

Guess an ageia card is the only answer for ATI vista users then unless nvidia releases a physx only forceware driver (dont think I'll hold my breath on that one )

Has anyone bothered to try this out in Windows 7 yet, as I believe WDDM 1.1 allows for more than one driver to be loaded simultaneously.
