FFS guys sort yourselves out - I just called - in the phone que for ages - "Hi do you have any 5870`s in stock" - "err dont know - best thing to do is order one" - "I wanted to come and collect it today" - "errr sorry the best thing to do is order one, then at least you will be in the que for one" - "but I want to collect one today" - "Sorry".

Duh !

All 5870's are now sold. And it is true the best way to get one is order one for shop collection. They are selling that quickly it really is the only way to get one.

Dude - thats what I tried to do - but I didnt want to order if there was no stock, the sales person couldnt tell me if there was stock, so I didnt want to order then turn up to collect nothing.

If you placed your order on the site when showing stock you will get stock. All need to do is wait for the confirmation to collect the order. Sorry if we have mis led you in anyway. I am trying to manage the whole allocation thing I have a lot of sapphire cards in over teh next few days so If I were I would put an order on now and you will get one for sure when the next batch is delivered.

That wasn't the case when I ordered a Sapphire 5970 OC on 18/11. In fact, I didn't get any allocated in the initial shipment (despite showing in stock when I ordered) nor the shipment that allegedly came the following week. Hence the reason why I am asking if your inventory is real time or not.

It is a live stock allocation system. The problem is with payements and authoisations form the bank especially when you are dealing with very small quantity of in demand product.

I was told the same for my 5970 by several staff; I can only assume at this moment that the order status system is lagged/offline as I paid extra for Saturday delivery for tomorrow and was told it'd be with me tomorrow!

Just checked order status and states: Order Status: In our warehouse queue which is where it has been for a week now. The question now stands at "Why did you and your staff say that I would have it today, yet it hasn't even left your warehouse?".

I was quite prepared to purchased the 5970 that came in stock yesterday however since you already have my money for the pre-order I guess you wouldn't have wanted that as you could sell the 10+ in stock in addition to retaining my 'pre-order' payment.

Hi Matt, I do not know what has happened with your order. Your order was printed out and for some reason which i will look into has not been despatched. I have a delivery clearing customs at the moment and should be here on Monday I will personally pack your card for you myself.
