*** ATi Graphics card update ***

I managed to bag myself a 5870 Vapor-X and a couple of Asus 5770's for the Kids (hope there a big enough upgrade from their 8800GT's). Got my delivery confirmation and i'm gonna pitch a tent by the door so the sneaky DPD man doesn't try the card and run tactic he used last time!

I spent way more money than i intended to on a 5870 but i just wanted this stock watching to be over, It was taking too much of my time up, I've been constantly checking OCUK on my iphone while at work lol

I was told the same for my 5970 by several staff; I can only assume at this moment that the order status system is lagged/offline as I paid extra for Saturday delivery for tomorrow and was told it'd be with me tomorrow!

I made an order for a 5850 back in October, but despite seeing two lots of the card come in stock and made available to buy as in stock on the website my order is still in the warehouse queue. Also have Saturday delivery. I wonder now weekday deliveries get priority despite the fact I ordered well over a month ago it seems people who ordered only a week ago are getting their cards before me....

I was told in a webnote and by a guy on the phone I would get my card last Saturday and then this Saturday - really really not happy.
 
Hi fatboy, another stock question for ya! Any info on the current stock situation for the vapour x 5870 plz?
 
Just checked order status and states: Order Status: In our warehouse queue which is where it has been for a week now. The question now stands at "Why did you and your staff say that I would have it today, yet it hasn't even left your warehouse?".

I was quite prepared to purchased the 5970 that came in stock yesterday however since you already have my money for the pre-order I guess you wouldn't have wanted that as you could sell the 10+ in stock in addition to retaining my 'pre-order' payment.

Totally agree with you. I've been decent throughout but this is a joke. They have been able to sell me the rest of my PC (all £1400 of it) but i'm going elsewhere for my GFX now.

Hi Matt, I do not know what has happened with your order. Your order was printed out and for some reason which i will look into has not been despatched. I have a delivery clearing customs at the moment and should be here on Monday I will personally pack your card for you myself.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused I have not meant to annoy you or cause you any problems.

Thanks for your help Fatboy however please cancel this specific order - I won't hold any grudges but in this instance I am going elsewhere for my GFX. Cheers.
