The Powercolor version costs ?99. Techpowerup reveiw of this model here.

Looks like a good sub ?100 option but should it be cheaper due to similar performance of the 8800gt?

Very similar performance, hence both cards are ?100 but given a 8800gt can be had for ?20 cheaper....

Also, where's those single slot cards Gibbo? I need summat to chuck in a little shuttle

From the techpowerup article

The locking mechanism relies on fuses inside the GPU, or on the substrate - a mechanism similar to Intel's multiplier locking. It is not reversible as far as I know

Yup, at £99 it isn't worth it, the 4850 can be had for only £10 more.

Card really needs to be ~£85, then it'll sit nicely between the 4670 and the 4850.
