ATI HD 58Stuttery!!

I`m getting sick of stuttering in certain games.

Dirt 2 stutters when AI is on Advanced

Blur stutters even when i use 1 card!

What is going on??

using 10.5 drivers, most games do seem fine, but it always the ones i get into that stutter!!

I can get dirt 2 working perfect, but its messing around with cat AI!

Don't use advanced?

Just use Catalyst AI = Standard.

But I never install the ccc. I just install the drivers.

Try that.

do you have afterburner running ?
if you do, close down CCC
i had stuttering with both running

have you overclocked your card? but have CCCs one enabled also (never do that) as I found out...

I do belive you need CCC to get the required AA/AF and cat AI of course through it was just its overclocking thing you can't have with a 3rd party (as I found out)

If he disables CAI he will lose Xfire support.

Blur is a crap console port and stutters on Nvidia as well as ATI systems, Dirt2 stutters for me on the first race then it smooths out.

Thank god, blur stutters on Nvidia aswell!!!

I went on my mates GTX 470 and his bad company 2 is very stuttery!!

My bad company 2 is perfect all on full, so thats something!
