ATI HD 6870 Crossfired Overclocking

ive got the ati hd 6870 already crossfired, and im thinking of overclocking it.

Its currently at 50 degrees celsius without pushing much above it, and from what ive learnt, a gfx card/cards can go as high at 80 degrees celsius.

My current core clock = 911
Memory clock = 4248
GPU Voltage = 1200

with a fan speed of 50, so its not too loud, but can most probably go higher.

What recommended settings would you advice, being that i want maximum performance, without a unstable system always crashing. I only plan to have this pc a few years anyway, so the lifespan of the pc doesnt bother me.

Thanks ;)

My 6950's each run at 91 when they are on full load, (fur mark multi) and ive had them hit nearly 100 in the summer, 80 still has a bit of headroom if they can take the same type of heat as the 69xx series. and yeah mine are overclocked quite a bit...

if its 50 on load, then its probably worth taking it quite a bit further, but thats just my opinion.

Is there a game your xfire 6870's are struggling with? Anything more over 60 frames is a waste unless you have a super duper monitor :)

I'd go for teh cooler, quieter, less power draw every time than an extra 5 frames that you won't notice
