I have an ATI HD3450 Graphics Card that I am planning on using in my upgrade (Q6600, 8GB Ram, 3 x 500GB Hard Drives) which will be my 'work' machine.

I don't play games or anything, and spend most of my time designing websites/editing images in photoshop, etc and some video editing.

I have just bought 2 Samsung 23" monitors from the Members Market which have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and I was wondering if this graphics card was powerful enough to power both Samsung's at full resolution or would I be better getting a better card?

Thanks in advance.

Should be fine, although how much VRAM does it have? If you're using it with Vista it might get a little sluggish if the memory is too low...

Well when I bought it, it was meant to have 512MB but when I go into system properties it says 1024MB. I will be using it with Vista 64 bit with 8GB System Ram.

Yeah it looks like this card has discreet video memory, and plenty of it. If you're just going to be doing non-gaming stuff with the card it'll be more than fine!
Assuming that the connections to the card are DVI, 1920x1080 won't require dual-link DVI so you can be sure that your card will work fine with them.

Mate, that's a lot of screen space :)

Thanks. I think one of the ports are VGA and one is DVI. Will that be a problem? Ta

Yeah I'm not sure if it'll turn out to be too much :p

vga and dvi will work 2 monitors after you set them up, vga may not be as crisp as dvi but could easily be good enough

memory is good enough for those montors and the cards capable of 2 montiors (similar systems in use at work)

personally i would connect 1 via dvi, check everthings good for that screen in ati catalyst software, maybe reboot

then reopen ati catalyst software and add the second screen
