ATI HDMI - No Display When Waking From Sleep

I'm running Windows 7 SP1 x86 and an ATI 5450 in my HTPC, which is connected to an Onkyo 605 via HDMI. Leaving the TV and reciever on, the HTPC wakes from sleep to a blank screen. This issue appears to be EDID related from a google, however, most of the threads are old (2009) and I wondered if there was ever a solution to this or something I'm missing?

I'm running the latest drivers etc etc

Sorry for the thread revival but using an Nvidia card (Asus 210GT) HDMI > HDMI solved this for me... happy days!

I've done the same and went for the GT 520. The issue has also miraculously been resolved

ATi - how have you not fixed an issue that appears to have been reported several card generations ago.
