Im just wondering whats happening with the gpu stocks sych as 5870's and GTX 295's etc. Everywhere ive looked seems to be out of everything.
 
ATi are struggling to produce enough 58** cards to meet demand.

and Nvidia has stopped made the 295 EOL now IIRC?
 
Unfortunately it seems that neither company is able or willing to keep their higher end products in stock. Instead it's ATi's 57xx series that seems to be stealing the show with its Crossfire performance and ready availability.
 
I believe TSMC, who produce chips for both ATI/Nvidia, had some issues as well.
 
Thank TSMC who have basically arsed up the 40nm production, they're not running at full capacity so theres a major shortage of 40nm chips that power the 5850/5870 and 5970 GPUs
