ATI or nVidia for SETI

Am considering getting a GPU for seti etc, and was wondering if anyone knew which of these current offers was the better choice:

I looked at a few reviews but none of the reviews seems geared towards Distributed Computing... and the ATI seems to have more stream processors and faster speeds by the numbers, but I'm guessing it's not as simple as that?

As far as SETI is concerned you can only use Nvidia GPUs, ATI is only used for milkyway@home.

The best choice for gpus at the moment would be a GTX460 as far as point/power is concerned

ATI cards aren't currently supported by SETI (apart from crunching Astropulse WUs with, but I wouldn't bother with that as one CPU core is also needed alongside it), so your only choice really for this project is nvidia.

The GTX460's seem like good value for crunching and there are still a lot of optimisations to come for the fermi architecture. If your budget will stretch Id go for a 470 as ocuk have a great deal on them. Im currently crunching 3 wu's at a time on my 470
