Hi there.

Have just got a MSI 4850 1GB (factory overclocked version).

Have got some pretty decent benchmark scores with no overclocking on my system at all, but then thought I would try it out a bit.

All MSI drivers and catalyst control centre installed.

I used ATi overdrive to overclock. First started up overdrive with the Auto feature. Card got quite hot (up to 70deg) so I stopped it. Tried doing it manually, but whenever I activate the overdrive checkbox, I get a really annoying jumping vertical line thing on my second monitor. It is like the bottom half of the display is jumping up and down everytime i click the mouse. as soon as I unchek the Overdrive box, everything is back to normal. My main monitor is just fine....

ANY IDEAS CLEVER PEOPLE?

thanks

Doug

1st thing would ask, was it a nvidia card before this? if was have you done full driver clean ?, tried different drivers to see if causes same problem. also 70c not that hot for a g card :) g/l

Before I had a ATI card (HD 4670). Never had radeon on this rig.
Never attempted to OC a GFX card before.
All drivers updated before and after installation, but I didnt do a complete removal.

MSI comes with its own drivers (including ATI ones and CCC).
