As Im not a hardcore overclocker, I simply wanted to use ATI Overdrive to get some safe, but faster clocks, however, whenever I run it, it either resets my computer, or VPU resets.
Has anyone got any suggestions, or do I just have a card that wont overclock?

Although I have crossfire, which complicates matters.

BUT you have to oc and then save it to the Bus (card) in the options and its dandy. :)

Hmmm, have heard bad things about ATITool and X1900xt/1800xt cards. Dont wanna damage my card :/
You've heard rubbish. :p I just OCed my X1900XT to X1900XTX speeds and it just turned its nose up and laughed, can't wait to see how far it will go.

So far it's at 650/1550 (XT-X) and running 50ºC idle and 75ºC under load with my VF900. Not bothered seeing how much further it can go yet as I just wanted to test it at XT-X speeds, and I've been too busy feasting my eyes on all my games. :)
