ATI Overdrive ...?

Does the ATI Overdrive auto-tune actually achieve a good overclock?

Can do.....a while back, it did wonders on a 1900XT 512MB I had, and I never managed to get much more out with Riva or anything.....then again, I guess each card/setup is different

Thanks - have had mixed experiences elsewhere with nVidia nTune ... so thought I'd ask!

More often than not it will set your card at an over-ambitious overclock and be unstable in games, you should do it manually in gradual steps.

It's generally ok on the core, but memory it tends to get a little excited.
