Quick question: if i set my fan speed to manual for cooler idle and the card gets really hot will it still auto increase the speed ??
 
Yep, it kicks up to 100% once you start to go over 100C (maybe 105 to be exact, not sure though). It will slow back down once temps are safe again, but if you leave it then it'll keep doing it every minute or so in intensive gaming.
 
im after some way to keep my fans at 35% idle but allso would like them to auto ajust to faster speed if needed. any way to do this ?
 
i don't know what brand you have, but if you got asus, you can use smart doctor and it has a bit where it can adjust fan speed per temp at five different stages. i personally don't use it. i just leave it at auto as it does not get that hot as my room is always cold.
