Hi all, did a reinstall of windows, and since cannot get the drivers to work correctly, my graphics card runs everything fine as normal, but I cannot get control pannel to run, or any other system ,so cannot manualy force AA or AF Etc, I have tried 4 different versions of drivers, and omega drivers, but none seem to work... help!

Install .Net as posted above.

And depending on which card you have, you may be able to use Ati Tray Tools, which is a lot easyer and better, it has all the Ati CCC options in a tray icon + more i think :)

as he says traytools is the best to use, i can;t get it to work though with vista 64 so if your using another operating system give tray tools a try. they allower higher overclocks then ccc.

Thanks, I have .net installed, and am using XP MCE, tray tools seems to work, but its reporting my 1900XTX Speeds as:

Core Max: 500mhz
Mem Max: 600mhz

Is that correct?

Also my games CTD when im running this...

500/600 will be 500 core obviously, and 1200 memory, so it depends on which card you have befor we can say thats correct or not :)

Yep, 2D speeds, you have to make 2 profiles, one with 3D voltages, fan settings and clock speeds and the one with 2D speeds, fans and voltages.

My thread on this is somewhere :o

Err....That's got me worrying now...when i go into the overdrive settings in ATT, it says 500 / 600 for GPU/Memory speeds...Are these wrong then =/

Or does it automatically change once i go into a 3d game?

Ahhhhhhh

right - i think those clock speeds are too high - especially if you are on air - i can run 467 and 5..something - cant remember - any higher and it will reset the clocks and close to desktop.

Are u sure?? The 3d clocks for your card are 650 core and 800 for mem??

Errr yea.

X1900XT/Crossfire: 625/725 (I have one)
X1900XTX: 650/775 (Again I have one)

At 2D they are BOTH @ 500/600.

How can you make sure they definetly run at those clocks while in 3d games?

Or like i said before do they automatically change =/...

Also, i have ATT installed, but i odnt actually have it phyisically in the taskbar, if that makes sense...

I followed the guide...However where it says something like, ticking the box so the clocks start at windows...it says i havent selected a profile.

Yet there isnt any to select in the drop down menus...But i have saved the profiles!? =P

As well as that, how does it know when to use the 2d and 3d profiles?

Sorry for the silly post, hope help can be given.

Thanks.

When you saved them did it pop up with a box to give it a name!?

Should be there if so :(

Yeah it did...

But like i said you cant 'tick' any boxes or select a profile??? =/ its weird

I have two profiles made, a 2d and a 3d one...So its all saved.

Also i've tried making the 2d clocks initiate when windows starts by ticking god knows how many boxes, but they never use them clocks.

I will have to have a play i guess, im just worried that by me not having ATT startup with windows, that its not using its 'proper' clocks when im playing games?

Still no joy...i can make the clocks set in windows...but i cant get them to start with windows itself...

It's basically on this window:

Another thing, there isnt a 'save as' button in that window...So i presume i right click the tray icon, and goto save as there under both opengl and d3d roll outs?

There isnt any profile to select on that drop down menu at the bottom either?

Ok you have to select "include in profile" for all the sections:

Eg:

That help?
