I'm having some issues using the; ASUS EAH4850
Regardless of the drivers being used for the card, whether its the original drivers for the card or the latest drivers made available for the 4xxx series, I seem to be getting issues with playing demanding games.
The display driver especially seems to be causing the issue, whether this is caused by a physical or software problem.
Assassins Creed II, every 5-10 minutes would freeze, cut to a black screen for around 30 seconds then the game would restore.
Crysis 2, the game froze at 5-10 second intervals, for a duration of 30 seconds each roughly, and then restore.
(Worked around this by dropping the over-clock)
But the display driver failures keep happening across many 3D applications with or without the over-clock, although they are a lot more stable without the over-clock enabled.
With the over-clocked enabled with a demanding application running that doesn't crash or freeze the temperate sit around 60-65 degrees Celsius, which is within reasonable levels.
Im not great with a complete understanding into the world of graphics card, and hopefully you can shed some light or advice on the problem.
I'll add more info/replies as necessary!
