ATI Radeon 5970

I am thinking of purchasing a 5970 however it does not have any HDMI Ports and my monitor only has a HDMI Ports

They all come with a DVI to HDMI dongle for the sound through put or am i wrong?

Surely the 5970 will ship with an DVI->HDMI adapter as the majority (if not all) of the 4xxx and 5xxx came with one. Check with someone before you order and i'm sure it will be fine.

Any non ati dvi-hdmi adapters will not carry the sound signal which is a bit of a pain when connecting to a big tv.

lol, just found my DVI to HDMI adapter - it was hidden under the manual. Oh well, I have a spare now!
