ATI Radeon Driver Installation

Hey guys,

i just logged into steam and got a message saying a new ATI graphics driver was available.

i downloaded the software and followed the installation instructions. i got this message at the end:

Error messages

Basically saying the installation failed. I also tried to download the driver direct from the AMD website and got the same error message.

Am i doing something wrong?

i saw that message:

However i am logged in as administrator or is "administrators group" something different?
 
i did some more googleing.

i created a new standard user account and uninstalled the ATI drivers.

i rebooted the PC and logged in as the administrator and right clicked the installation file and ran as administrator.

the installation was successfully.
