ATI Radeon HD 3870

Specs:

512mb GDDR3 HD graphics card.

Is this a decent graphics card? I'm thinking about getting it and spending money on a decent blu-ray DVD disk drive and wondering if it would display a good crisp picture and be worth the money.

Yeah should be fine. If your aren't gaming even a 3650 would be fine. I personally own the 3870 and its great . For both image quality and Gaming



Carefull, thats only a good suggestion if he games.

Spent waaaaaaaaay too much on building this comp already. Original budget was £400, very nearly doubled that.

I don't really game. I am a major CnC and Red Alert fan and I know that the 3870 would run them both nicely. Just curious how good it is for HD.
