ATI Radeon X800 Pro Problem

Hi Guys,

A few months ago i had the case of my shuttle off because of the summer heat and my Powercolour X800 Pro (AGP) was overheating, anyway a moth or some form of insect hit my fan on the graphics card and one of the fins on the fan snapped off. So now i'm unable to run games with the case on as my fan on the graphics card goes mad and my pc will eventually reboot, I guess my question is can i get a replacement fan/cooling system that will fit inside my shuttle, I've seen some on the ocuk site but I'm unsure if they will fit or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as the hurricane in my room is annoying

i dont have any experience with shuttle sff systems how much room you got in there??

Just enough space to have a single slot graphics card, not one that overlaps into a pci slot, even though the pci slot is behind the agp port, but if i get a fan that's too big it wont fit inside the case

well i took alook at the coolers on ocuk and i dont think any of them will fit yours as i think they are all larger than a single slot design. maybe worth keeping an eye out for faulty x800 on ebay you nick the cooler off if you cant find anything else

The Zalman coolers don't fit for sure - but they only stick out by about 4mm. You can cut a hole for something like the vf-900 to stick out, and then put a 120mm fan grill over the top. Looks okay...
