My x850xt is faulty, it has atrifacts during posting, so i contacted ATI to RMA it, and have recieved my numbers. is it worth sending it off to them, it`s all the way in america, is there no uk base? and has anyone done this and does it take long?

Ermm, where did you buy the card from mate ?

EDIT : And which brand is it, I.E Sapphire , Powercolor
 
here, uk based, via ebay though, second hand, it`s worked fine for the last few weeks.
