ATI – Screen Colour Issue

Hi,

When ever I build a PC with an ATI card, I have to manually adjust all the colours, as once the drivers are installed, the screen is too bright (adjust colours via ATI control panel).

When I use a Geforce, I do not have to adjust any colours.

Any ideas why this is?

Is this a common issue with ATI?

I always have do the same with ATI cards myself. Usually everything is too bright and it's always the first thing I do after installing CCC. I don't adjust individual colours though, just the brightness, contrast and gamma, oh and then the Avivo settings.

I haven't needed to install anything nVidia for a good while so I don't know how they compare default-wise.

I don't mind having to do it tbh, only takes a few seconds.
