I'm a Lenovo Y460 owner which means I run ATI switch-able graphics on an Intel CPU/Platform.
As some of you may or may not know AMD provide zero driver support for this switachbale GPU Intel platform in their latest driver releases. Manufacturers also rarely, if ever, update their own packages to include the newest performance/bug fix tweaks the new Catalyst releases contain.
Today I stumbled upon this blog:
http://leshcat.blogspot.com/2011/12/catalyst-1112-and-121-unifls-for.html
This chap in collab with another/others releases unified packages which include the latest driver sets, or at least - newer ones.
I am in the process of downloading now and about to try but I hope this project continues as being years behind on Catalyst drivers is frustrating at best.
If anyone else is in the same position on their laptops then have a read of the Blog/FAQ and give the package a try - Would like to hear back with your experiences.
