ATI to refresh X1900 in light of 7950 GX2?

Hi,

I was just wondering if ATI was due to bring out a reply to nVidias 7950 GX2 gfx cards. Im looking to pick up a 1900XT while they seem to be the best card for the money at the moment, but was wondering what else is due out before the DX10 cards come out...

I know theres little point in waiting for DX10 cards, but wanna make sure that ATI dont bring out a nice refresh to the X1900 in the meantime...

Im completely not bothered by the 7950 series or if ATI bring out a similar dual chip card - Im actually just wondering how it would effect the X1900XT pricing

Guess it not gonna change much until the DX10 stuff comes out Now wheres that buy button...

Smaller process? Surely not ati has only just gone to 90nm

Hopefully they'll get rid of the crossfire master cards at the same time so I can put XT's in my shuttle.

The new 'x1950' will be 80nm IIRC, maybe with GDDR4

Im in no particular rush - just seems ATIs last 2 gens have been good value so hopefully this one will be - better be soon with the impending DX10 movement - though Vista isnt invited to that party ...

I think the NV G80 aka 8800GTX will be out before the x1950.....
