When I try to install ATI Tool in vista to control my gpu's fan speed I get some message saying the unsigned drivers can't be installed, what is this retardation and how do I fix it?
 
Guessing you have x64 Vista? I had the same problem. I installed ATT OK but when I ran it I got a message about low level installation or some other rubbish. Seems you need to either sign the drivers or turn something about this off in Vista. I've given up since I hardly need to use the CCC much but if you get it working, please do spill the proverbial beans. :)
 
I had it running, there was I think a bat file which was was required it to run. IIRC when the bat file was run, it did "something" then ran ATI Tool then "undid" what it did before.

I realise that's not much help, but there is a fix around; just it's been over a year since I last used it :(
