Ati tool is showing that my X1800xt is at 594 core and 693mhz on the memory.

Why doesnt it show as it should at 625core and 750mhz memory? omega drivers panel show it at 594 on the core aswell but the cat control centre was right. Why are the temps wrong?

are right thanks. by the way ati tool is poo. I just did the find max core and it went on for a while then restarted my computer for me. very stable!

how do you set the 3d clocks in ati tool as i can only see 2d ones? also on my powercolor 256mb card what is an idea overclock without it artifacting etc?

something like 700core 800mem from 650 750?

Just reading about this my self. ATI tools has some problems with the 1800 series. Theres another program out to OC it.

Ait tryed it yet. Ive just been setting the clocks in ccc and 3Dmarking altho this aint the best way to do it either as ccc limits the core speed and losens the memory timings. The only thing worrying me is ATI tools is still the only way to scan for artifacts however Im not sure if its using the new clock speeds as its only reporting 2D speeds, so am I just scaning at stock?

here is link hope it helps
