ATi Tray Tools is resetting my GPU in game?

Basically while playing BF2 the settings are reset to auto, which as you can see means the fan won't get to 100% till 90C and only 54% at 70C! This of course leads to in-game freezing rather abruptly until i can somehow ctrl+alt+del out and switch manual speed back on. Any ideas as to why this is doing this, maybe look at your overclocking fan settings and verify that i've got everything correctly set.

I have the latest version v1.0.5 880 RC, i have XP SP2, a ATi X800XT with sufficient cooling in an artic silencer.

The new ATi catcs since 6.3 IIRC have an issue where the clocks are reset to 2D when a video/ingame video is loaded.

This caused issues with ATi Tool because it sometimes crashes and it messes up and other form of control software.

I think 6.7 Cats fix the issue.

Great, i actually have Cat 6.3 Omega at the moment. I shall endeavour to get that patched now and i'll let ya know how i get on. Nice one, cheers!

I think your problem there is you havn't selected the ' include in profile ' tab. Select that and press apply. Here's a fan setup screen shot of when i had my x850xt clocked using ati tray tools in my old xp system. Those setting made the fan silent at idle and never went over 64 in games.

Nope, still does it unfortunately. Looks like it's time to uninstall ATi Gay Tools and install Rivatuner.
