Hi i will be probally getting this card, i just wanted to clear something up.

This card saids 600MHZ Core, 1400MHZ Memory and 24 Pixel Shaders.

Now i have just been on New Egg and red a few reviews and one viewer is saying THIS CARD dosent have 24 pixel shaders is this true.

Thanks.

They don't ship overseas so afaik they aren't a competitor. (I'm not certain though)

Something about having 3 shaders per pipeline and 8 pipelines, although I haven't paid mucha ttention to them as the 7600GT cards are a fair bit better at the same price and the 7900GS much faster for not a lot more.

Thats right, don't ship overseas so are fine. :)

x1650 XT is slightly faster than the 7600 GT, see here , and it does have 24 pixel shaders.

The x1650 pro isn't the x1650 XT is, as you can see from the review i linked to, plus it has better IQ and can do AA+HDR which the 7600 GT can't, the x1650pro doesn't even beat the 7600 GS. :)

The X1650XT is a far better card than the Pro, OCUK sells both, so make sure you order the right one. According to MicroMart magazine it is a redesigned X1950Pro so it should have some grunt. As for being better than the 7600GT, it's a case of neither being the better at everything. One beats the other in some things and vice versa.

The HIS should be a tad faster plus it exhausts the hot air out of the case.

As far as i was aware the 7600gt's perform far better once overclocked a little bit more. And they are almost guarantee'd to do 600/800 with no problems at all. Mine is now steady at 625/800.

I guess you just need to pick which games you like playing most and choose a card accordingly.
